Welcome to Sim Shalom Progressive Jewish Congregation!
Sim Shalom  - a member of WUPJ (where URJ and Reform Judaism belong also) - was the first progressive Jewish congregation in Hungary, now 15 years old.

Our first Shabbat Shachrit service in our new synagogue, with Torah and Haftarah reading, will be held on 13th March, starting at 11am.

Since 19th February, 2010 we hold all our programs in our new synagogue location: RĂ¡day street. 9.  in the 9th district of Budapest,
1st floor apt2. (door bell 12)

We have Kabbalat Shabbat service every Friday evening at 6pm.
The service is followed by kiddush and vegetarian pot-luck dinner.
